  1. This software use the "DEX-II Keyfile System", based on
  2. the DEX-II encryption software/scheme (see our homepage for the software).
  3.  
  4. This software is fully functional,
  5. the keyfile is only used to remove the requester
  6. that remind you to register this software :-)
  7. The keyfile will also put your name in the "About" requester
  8. found in the program's menu :-)
  9.  
  10. The keyfile "may" be used for future updates,
  11. that have "special" things added. ANY bugs found will be fixed so
  12. unregistered users do not need to worry, however if major changes/additions
  13. are made, only registered users may be able to use them,
  14. so you should look at the unregistered as an evaluation version!
  15.  
  16. Official Msi Betatesters and catalog translators are not required to pay,
  17. but I would be very happy if some of them did :-)
  18. Betatesters/translators need to "ask" for a keyfile,
  19. if they don't ask, I will not bother to give them one :-)
  20. I will gladly give a free keyfile to other ShareWare authors
  21. in trade for a registered version of their software :-)

  23. Those users who have a contract/license or any other agreement
  24. given directly by me or a company that have signed a deal
  25. with Msi Software for redistribution with their product
  26. do not have to pay the ShareWare fee either,
  27. since the fee have been taken care of by other means.
  28. (Please read the company's information, about special registration ID's
  29.  and other info that must be used to obtain your keyfile from us.)

  31. To all others though, you have to pay the ShareWare fee
  32. if you continue to use this program after the 30 day
  33. free trial period that I hereby give you the license for.
  34. After these 30 days (from when you read THIS ShareWare information)
  35. you have to pay the fee or remove this program from your system
  36. and any related documents/files.

  38. We reserve the right to charge a small update fee
  39. if we find the changes large enough to justify such a fee.
  40. (don't worry, I doubt that will happen :-)
  41. Updates for registered users are always free unless stated otherwise and
  42. can be obtained from the Msi Software web site at http://home.sol.no/~msi/
  43. or from Aminet or any other free distribution media.

  45. All registered users will be put on a registration list with a userid,
  46. and a record of update fees and any special licenses will be kept.
  47. Currently keyfiles will only be sent to you via email,
  48. due to postal/disk/packaging expenses and the extra time needed for disks.
  49. (this may vary depending on a company's deal with Msi Software)
  50. So I need your name and internet email adress to send you the keyfile.
  51. I also need your normal address, city and country information as well.
  52. ShareWare/Commercial authors etc can register by giving me a free
  53. fully registered copy of their product (or a keyfile :-)
  54. (companies have to contact me for a discussion of a company license)

  85. IT IS TO EXPENSIVE FOR ME TO EXCHANGE ANYTHING ELSE.
  86. And if you are not sending Norwegian Crowns then please
  87. try to send the cash as paper money,
  88. since coins are very hard to get exchanged.

  90. I advice Scandinavian countries to use NOK (prefered) or SEK if possible,
  91. and European countries to use GBP (prefered) or DEM if possible,
  92. and Asia to use USD (prefered) or JPY if possible,
  93. and America (south/north/Canada) to use USD, (prefered) or CAD if possible,
  94. and the rest of the World to use USD (prefered) or GBP if possible.
  95. This way I will be able to exchange larger amounts of these
  96. currencies and thus reduce my banking costs.

  98. Other means of money transfer like Eurochecks and similar means of
  99. money transfer is also accepted as long as they are in Norwegian
  100. currency and that the receiver (me) do not have to pay large amounts
  101. of money to cash them in (check with your Bank/Postal office about this).

  103. Also send me an email or a letter to let me know you sent me the money,
  104. and if possible send a copy of the receipt (bank/post)
  105. or scan it (low resolutions okay) and email it :-)

  112.  and exchaning it to Norwegian currency (that I can use here :-)
  113.  are included in the price. Meaning that of 4 Dollars I may
  114.  only end up with 2 Dollars after the Bank have charged it's fees.

  117.  or future projects, free updates of all (no need to pay again)
  118.  new revisions (and versions unless stated otherwise).
